Getting Enough Exercise
Maintaining a certain level of physical fitness is a crucial aspect of maintaining wellness. Without the right amount of exercise the body can start breaking down and diseases are more likely to take over. A lack of exercise also makes your body age faster. The right amount of physical activity ensures that your body will stay lean, fit, and make better use of its energy and nutrient stores.
It isn’t as hard as you think to get enough exercise and it doesn’t have to be boring, either. On average, all you really need is about 30 minutes, three times a week of regular exercise. The key is to get your heart rate going and keep it going for that period, so this could be as easy as taking a long walk at a quick pace, riding a bicycle, or going swimming. You could even incorporate daily chores into your exercise routine such as vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting.
